Domestic cup ticket line - Why is it so poor?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Trying to get a ticket for the Birmingham game this morning and its so much hard work.  You have to listen to this message first giving u information on the sale and then u get told all lines are busy.  If the lines are busy tell me straight away instead of making me wait for 2 mins first.

How hard is to administrate a phone line.  Every season its the same problems.

Thank your lucky stars you're not an Arsenal supporter.

Why is that?

I got through after 30 mins.  £15 quid the Birmingham game is.  Oh what a difference to last year.  Paid £42 for the league game at St Andrew's and £25 for the FA Cup game.

Arsenal's ticket office is worse than ours. Now they've got their new stadium apprantely it's even worse. £15 quid isn't bad the Reading game last week was £20.

Yeah I heard some fans on a phone in moaning saying how bad it has gotten at Arsenal.  £15 is very good I think.  Think Palace charged £25 last year.

It's because Palace are a London club, London like to be expensive, you only have to look at the prices of tickets, It can cost me over £100 pounds to make a trip down to London. I'll probably be going to Birmingham game as well, although I cannot stand Birmingham.  :D

Who's going to Birmingham?

I know Rafa-Dodd and timmit are. I cannot get the time off so bit gutted. Its a good price for a change but because of the late kick off I think it will stop a lot of people from going to it. There is no trains to get back.

West Ham last year was £39 which was outrageous.  Birmingham at £42 just was damn right robbery.

Why is the allocation at Arsenal so low.  I thought we would of got at least 4000 for that game.

Yeah, West Ham's game was expensive, cost me well over a hundred quid, I'm not going there again in a hurry, the place is an absolute shithole, the stadium is :censored: and they stick you next to the West Ham loonies.  :D

I didn't go to many away games last season, due to the fact of the outrageous prices and the expense of travel. I'd much rather go to home matches, where the atmosphere is better.

I've not seen Arsenal's ticket allocation, but I've told by a few fans on another forum that they only allocate about 1000-2000 tickets for away fans.

Are the tickets at a rip off price of over £40? You going?

Not a season ticket holder so can’t get a ticket.  I thought we would get more as before the season started I looked on the Arsenal website about the stadium.  It said on there that away allocation will range from 1500 – 9000.  From that I thought 1500 would be for those clubs who don’t take much away support but for the bigger sides they would get 4000 – 5000.  While 8000 – 9000 would be for FA cup games.

My Uncle has 2 season tickets at Arsenal for his business and I can go but I really hate sitting in the home end.  Not being able to cheer sux!!
