Id alsolike to see us finish 4th as its the CL and thats where we deserve to be. Any lower though and GH may finally be told to move on, which could also be good. Its a lose lose situation really..which sucks

I know we do not have the god given right to be winning year after year but with the history, support and finances that we have, we should be closer to challenging for the top spot than where we are now.
However, with Newcastle and Charlton famous for their late season break-down, anything could still happen. Makes me feel what is the glory of finishing 4th. Sad really...

Obviously I'd like to finish fourth, but the whole run-in's become a total embarassment to both us and the Geordies I'd say, whoever gets it will only have done so by sheer chance what with us both being so sh##e these days.....

We better finish 4th, I am not even thinking about 7th place, 5th place is unthinkable as it is

I'm not sure we would embarass ourselves in the CL like many on this board have said.

With a couple of good signings and perhaps more importantly a new manager, we can advance from the group stage, then it's knockout and anything can happen there.

Look at this season if someone had told me at the beginning of the season Monaco, Chelsea, Deportivo and Porto would be fighting it out for the final I would have laughed at them, particulary the manner they have gotten there (Monaco beating Real Madrid and Depor beating AC Milan 4-0, arguably the best defense in Europe).

Liverpool belong in the CL and need CL football for the prestige and finacial incentive it brings as well as easier penetration into the transfer market. also Michael Owen will probably sign a new deal if we get 4th spot.

Although, 4th spot would only give us a chance to qualify, hopefully (if we get 4th spot) we won't do a Newcastle (lost to Partizan in qualifying).
