Hi, my girlfriend and me are supporters of Cologne FC in the Bundesliga; we visited L´pool 7 years ago and fell in love with the city, since then we hardly miss a game in our local pub in cologne when L´pool plays.

Willkommen. Wie du hast gesagt, Liverpool ist ein sehr schön stadt. Ich war eigentlich in Köln vor zwei monaten, weil ein freund von mir in Bonn wohnt.

I remember we played Cologne in a pre season friendly a few seasons ago, I think we won 2-1?, cant remember the scorers though. I think Cologne had just been promoted to the top Division in Germany then, how has the progress been since then?

Well, three years ago we promoted to the Bundesleague, then we went down to the second league, last year we promoted to the first league again and this year we´re last with 9 points behind the rescuing 15th place. We´ll go down again. :sniffle

a lot of liverpool fans stayed in cologne when we played leverkusen and came back singing the city's praises, i think it was cologne anyway, is it close to leverkusen?

Yes, the distance between Leverkusen and Cologne is about 15 KM, many Cologne People consider Leverkusen as suburb.

Well but their football team has outrun our´s. :down:

Well, don´t laugh but we consider to invite 2 Liverpool fans for 20th of June ( maybe already for 19th ). We don´t have a guestroom but a studiocouch and it would be for free of course.

So we could visit colognes sights and hot spots. I already took days off and if my girlfriend´s able also: welcome scousers!
