Thanks for the welcome.
First memory of going to the ground was with my Grandad as a little kid against Derby in the early 70's. It had snowed and they used an orange ball. Think the score was 1-1. I remember the kop being so loud. I watched the Kop more than the game!
Best memory at a match was the famous St Etienne game. We sagged off school and were pushed into the turnstile so we didn't have to que. What a great night.

My first match was against Derby(i think)with my Grandad as well.1974 it was.Welcome to the best LFC forum mate.

What is it with games against derby. The first game my Dad took me too was also against derby in 1977. We won 3-1 i think. It was Ian Callaghans 800th game for Liverpool and the teams gave him a guard of honour as he came onto the pitch. 
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.
