And I joined him in spirit although I hasten to add my support of his stance did not extend to his rather churlish comments ???

The amount of fans descending on this site to slaughter Houllier was rank IMO and disrespectful to a servant of Liverpool FC . Ok anyone with hole in their ****** knew his time was up but a lot of people stood in line to post insult after insult against a manager who delievered some of the best moments in LFC's recent history.

I said then and i repeat now, history will be kinder to GH than a lot of fans have been  ???

Thank Al.....Much appreciated .

I've bene accused on here of wanting GH to stay because of my support of him as a decent guy who served LFC to teh best of his ability.

There seems a consensus sometimes that you can't back the app't of Benitez as manager and Support GH...Thats total rubbish. I'm not naive and it was time to act in respects of GH but the way fans come on forums like this and slag him off and other Ex palyers as well really disappoints me.

Many people in here on that day when we earned the most users online came here to kick a  man when he was down and  IMO aren't fit to lace his boots .......

I reckon most people logged on that day to express relief rather than anger. It was the Houllier loyalists who were hoping LFC would never win another game.

You must be confusing me with someone else Dalglish.I joined this forum to express exasperation at Houllier`s reign.I was ecstatic when he left.

So loyalty is now being confused with success ?

That comment was unnecessary for a man of your inteligence Greenred, if my memory serves me right you was gasping for Martin O'neil to be manager ............

Loyalty has nothing to do with success, thats why we`re all still LFC fans.O`Neill, yeah i thought he was the right man for the job,but i buried that thought long before Rafa took charge of his first match.

I'm confused ? You say loyalty has nothing to do with success which I agree with but then imply fans who are loyal to GH do so at the expense of the team ? ???
