hey everyone.

i've spent the past few months checking out all the LFC forums which are online and finally decided today you guys have the best one. i hope i can help make it even better.

my real name is stephen (21) and i live in belfast. at the moment i'm studying multimedia design at university here in belfast.

A fellow from BELFAST, NOT know "Gaelic"

Anyway, that's not your fault; your schools MUST learning you Irish (even if you are a descendant from English settlers)...

The first phrase means "A Million Wellcomes" and it's the CLASSIC/TRADITIONAL Irish greeting.

The last word I used, means simply... "Cheers"!

About the "bound" between Irish-Greeks...

Before the Devine Dynasty of "Tuatha de Danann" (most famous myth in Ireland), the "Green Island" was FIRST ruled in 1700 BC (more or less) by a Greek settler (thereafter, king) named "Partholon", with his wife "Dalna" or "Dealgnaid" and this Greek dynasty last for 300 years... After them, the giants "Fomors" took over the island... These been defeated by the "Nemeds" and they also defeated by the "Fir Bolgs", the ULTIMATE CELTIC BLOOD tribe - according with the historics. Then... came the "Mighty & Devine... Tuatha de Danann" and finished the "creation/formation" of the Irish blood-line...

(Hahaha... Little history doesn't hurt, isn't it?)

i'd say most people round here don't knwo a word of Gaelic, lol. and no my shcool didn't teach, thanks for the lesson though. how come you know so much about ireland if your from greece?
