hello everyone

i have been reading the boards for a long time and thought it was time i joined in as i`m hoping someone can help me,

i have taken my son up to anfield for his first time this year it was against spurs and we won 3/0 he loved it.
p.s. his was 6 at the time

i wanted to take him again but i was on the phone for 4 1/2 hours only to be told ( when i did get through ) they were sold out very disappointing !!

i was wondering is there a better way of getting tickets for games or is it a case of just keep ringing and hoping you get through before they are all gone?

Welcome to the board- and welcome to Liverpool's ticketing system!!

Unless you know someone with a season ticket i'm afraid you have to go the phone route!! (that's if any tickets get as far as fan-card holders)!

i was afraid that would be the case oh well never mind a few hours on the phone is well worth it if you do get the tickets! what to go up a lot more with my lad this coming season, i think it could be a big one for us in the prem with some new people coming in we will push for that top spot

does any one know of a good place to get tickets after they have sold out,

there are some places on the web that sale them but i could only find ones that were way over priced (£120) at that sort of price there no way i could do it not for me and my lad

It depends on how many games you plan to see, it's probably best you go the fancard route, but it's unlikely you'll be able to get top any of the big games.

although i woud like to be able to take my lad to the big games i know that`s going to be hard

going to smaller ones is fine i will watch them who ever they play and my lad who is now 7 loved it so much there the first time i took him he would just be over the moon so long as he got to watch liverpool

Getting to Premier League games is a toughy, if you get a fancard you may be able to go to a few of the lesser ones like vs. Fulham, Portsmouth etc. Although many of these weren't hot property in the season gone purely because we were only looking to get a 4th placed finish. Things may be different next season should we challenge for the title from the very beginning, then it may be difficult to go and seee these games. Europe is your next best bet, even then, it depends on how often you're gonna see them.

4 1/2 hours on the phone? Sounds like a horrip case of foulgandering. This sounds like it could be a political issue.
