Longtime Liverpool supporter (just discovered these boards) from Southern California.

Fav current player: Stevie G
Fav alltime: Souness/Fowler
Other club: LA Galaxy season ticket holder and member of the Riot Squad
Played: since '77 here, RB & DM '91-'95 for the US Army, local amateur & pub teams in Germany
Poison: Bushmills

Ever play with any of our famous old boys in the American League?

I know Best, Redknapp, Allardyce, Marsh, Moore etc... all went out there at the twilight of their careers.

Oh yeah, and some guy called Pele who's Brazilian.

Or at least do you remember the impact they had out there, if any?

I was a little kid then. But I used to go see Bestie play for the Aztecs. Now I just go to his old pub, 'Bestie's', on occasion...

I also got to see Cruyff but never got to see Pele.

The biggest name I ever played against was Michael Emenalo (Nigerian international) in Germany '92 or '93. ****** beast he was.
