Hi everyone, I've just signed up a few minutes ago and have read the rules etc - so hope I don't step out of line! I'm from Glasgow and I'm a Celtic/Liverpool fan, Celts first I admit!  :p but I've supported the Reds since the 80's too. I was brought up with 2 heroes Paul McStay and Kenny Dalglish so naturally I made Liverpool my 'English' team. I became fascinated with the history of LFC when my brother bought me a book when I was 7 or 8 telling of the great European victories (I remember being shocked that Iain St John was actually a player as well as host of Saint & Greavsie! - I was only 8 mind!). I've always thought there were great similarities between Celtic and Liverpool - with their working class roots, the never say die attitude and the passion of both sets of fans. I'm a member of a similar forum for Celtic and my love for LFC led me to source a similar site for Liverpool.

I look forward to contributing and getting to know you all.

Welcome mate, we could do with a few more "Jocks" at the club, LFC's history is littered with some scottish legends. Dalglish, Souness, Hansen ,  :buttrock

Ahem, one does not partake in the filthy nectar that is Buckfast. A Glaswegian trait for sure.

Also not a follower of the Buckie Thistle. Though i hear they have a rather splendid squad for this seasons upcoming league campaign... :eyebrow

One hails from the Scottish capital and thus, follows the mighty boys in Maroon.  :buttrock

Hi i'm new, i joined today i would just like to say i remember one particular scots man, that first blew passion in liverpool fc nostrals, and that was the great bill shankly, it was he who begun the red revolution and it continues to this very day, and may it continue onwards and forwards and of course upwards.
