:D val doonican -who could forget him and his funky sweaters lol

One more Id nominate is -Enya. shes outa this world, and so is her music altho definately a defined taste. Movies like Braveheart,Lotr,Gladiator and Man on fire wouldnt have the same special feel without her touch.

If Robbie Williams is there it opens the door for various others!

A lot may not agree but i think Oasis contributed a lot to British music from they began!
Im not a huge fan but can appreciate that a few of their songs have been superb and wiil be remembered for years to come!
Also i think they inspired a lot of other bands and still do!
So if Robbies there?
They should be as well!
Also Simple Minds i think deserve a bit of recognition!

oasis contributed a lot to robbing ideas directly from the beatles. their first album was ok but after that probably one of the worst bands for a long time. my choice would be The Fall (and john peel would agree)

Its true Liam Gallagher does wannabe John Lennon but to say they robbed the beatles??
Cant agree there Andy...Noel has penned some great tunes and may have been inspired by the beatles!
But i cant really think of one Oasis tune that sounds like the Beatles!
In my opinion this is why the Beatles are probably the most important band ever..No band can ever sound like them!
They were unique!

Radiohead?? ??? GREEN

I know they were popular for some reason a few years ago but for me they just sounded like they were out there to drum up new business for the samaritans. Everytime i here one of their songs i start to wonder where the best place is to hang a noose from; they are so goddamn depressing.
