Roy of the Rovers is back :buttrock

In next weeks exciting issue... Roy gets a three match ban for punching another player and for using abusive language to the ref (only to have it reversed on appeal)  :D

At five minutes and six seconds after 4 AM on the 7th of August this year, the time and date will be 04:05:06 07/08/09. This will never happen again, unless your in America then it would be 8th July

I think you should be able to watch it on the ITV Net Player. Basically their version of iplayer.

ITV should repeat though over the next few weeks. They are bound to with the release of the movie.

Also if you have Sky it might be worth checking out ESPN classic. There is a Clough doc on there too which has been repeating a lot this week. I think it is called 'Life Of Brian'.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Question for Dawson.

The other day I saw you made a word game with one sentence that may have a double sexual meaning and you ended up with a oo-er, or something.

The thing is, that in another forum about old computers, they used that a lot, but also said to me, when something I said might have a sexual meaning F'nar!!!

Is that a tv classic word or something? or is it F'nar!! totally unfamiliar to you.

I use oo-er in the classic carry on sense... like oo-er missus... just something we say...

as for F'nar...according to a website i found:

(1) Fnar means 'Oo-er', that last word has a bit of a double meaning, doesn't it now?'
    (2) Fnar means 'chortle, chortle, guffaw etc'. i.e. Is a stifled giggle/laugh reserved for jokes with a certain degree of crudity.
    (3) Fnar means 'that's got possibilities for being incredibly rude, that last phrase, hasn't it?'

So websites will also say fnar means oo-er.

hope that helped  :D

Coaches should think of MP40 and German Shepperds as motivators in the dressroom.

It can't be argued it must be effective
