Nice recommended day out on the bus, get your leftover bread and go an feed the ducks in Southport im serious done it loads but ive had to pay on the bus

, Bloody 'Ell, it's not that bad (well not yet !), I took the early retirement option which qualified me for the bus pass but I don't have to wear plaid slippers or feed the ducks for another 5 years.

I am however already wearing yellow leather moroccan slippers and I feed the crows in the park across the road.

I also start up conversations with complete strangers in the supermarket, usually in the cheese or wine aisles !

ive always found the meat counter is a good place to chat up women, i order a massive piece of steak and then try to get rump into the conversation

there is a definate art to meeting women in a supermarket.

DO - go somewhere nice, waitrose and M&S being the best
DONT - go to iceland
DO go to the meat counter or wine section
DONT go to the fruit and veg section
DO make small talk whilst with your trolley
DONT make small talk queuing up
DO chat in the frozen dinenrs part
DONT chat in the chocolate part

its a minefield out there, got to be careful
