"Go to work on an egg" was an advertising slogan used by the United Kingdom's Egg Marketing Board during the 1960s as part of over £12 million they spent on advertising.

Reportedly created by Fay Weldon, she has since said that she was just the manager of the person who created the phrase, the proposition was that having an egg for breakfast was the best way to start the working day.

if what bavlondon says is true then stu should indeed be given his marching orders. methinks the mods are still collectively deciding his fate, ooh the tension it's like when they cut to the adverts half way through who wants to be a millionaire :D

Jeez I hope he's not banned. The forum will miss his view points. Assuming of course that pm proves false.
