Yes the statement over getting an axe in your head in Liverpool, didnt go down to well, dont know if that was the reason like.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I noticed the axe one, and also going on about "being quite handy with a knife" which was just plain silly

He was a bold boy, more to it than just the postings. It turned out that he was misbehaving in a kindofconfuzing way as well.

All said, LIVERPOOLANYTIME was the architect of his own downfall. While I wasn't fond of the fella I don't think he did anything particularly bad (apart from a few barnies and a bold PM he sent a member) until this week, when he just kept ranting. If he had kept his cool and stopped scrapping he'd probably still be here, to be honest.

I don't know why and who administered the fatal blow to him, though.

It wasn't me.  I gave him his second warning.  I logged on this morning and he had five though, so I think it was Supersub.

Here's an extract from what is hopefully his last ever post in this forum .

Sorry, but I will tell you right now, nobody would be smashing my face in G-Mac....Trust me on that, you can also have a 12month gaurantee on that too if you like!!

"But you dont even need to say anything to be attacked in Liverpool anyway........the word AXE comes to mind!!!

If people prefer rago talk, then f*ck it thats what y'all can have ya get me!!  If you equate being smart and being weak, then you are seriously mistaken in the case of me, ya get me!

Nobody will or has ever smashed my face in,I tend to do that myself, Im quite handy with a knife too!! Prefer a knife to any other weapon,(surprise surprise being half scottish!! :D), its a lot more personal, feeling it enter someone and looking them in the eyes.............So please dont get it twisted yea!!! . "

Imo anyone that posts that kind of sh'it has no place in here . The day it becomes acceptable is the day I leave this place . Three cheers to our Mods for ridding our forum of such scum.

and to think that a certain member on here actually accused me of being LAT a few weeks back. i'm not going to mention names...cough andy g cough.  :D

 you mean LA though, of course. took me a few minutes to work out, did that.

whilst i have stuck up for him on numerous occasions (and i still believe rightly so) the bullshit he came out with about being handy with a knife was just ridiculous if not down right stooopid. not sure if he REALLY deserved a banning though, many rant on here, many carry on fights for too long, and some say things that are much more disturbing.

anyway - i hereby announce that i aim to carry his mantle from here on in. so look sharp you bunch of homophobic, racist, sexist, bigoted sheep - i ain't gonna stand for that shit. i've got more cars, more money, more street cred, knife skills, grime bands and general sexiness than the lot of you put together and will be reminding you of it on a regular basis.

from now on you must all refer to me as LIVERPOOL, WHAT'S THE TIME? and woe betide you if you argue.

I think though, if I'm to be fair, there are lessons to be learned from the whole episode with LIVERPOOLANYTIME.

For a long time here there was no problem with him at all, you have to give him that. I remember him when he first joined, and he was well capable of writing a decent football post.

To the best of my knowledge it all kicked off with his comments about the July bombings. Passions were running high and LIVERPOOLANYTIME made some inappropriate remarks. Everybody is entitled to air their opinion, I think, but you have to draw the line somewhere. The old "free speech" argument gets wheeled out too often. For example, Hitler was giving his opinion on racial issues, but they were hardly appropriate, were they, considering what happened? Sometimes airing your opinion can be inflammatory and can damage others, such as racist or discriminatory rants.

There is a time and place for everything. An example would be a guy that you know and ansolutely despise, and you show up at his funeral and tell everybody how much of a dick you thought he was. Now, this might be your honest opinion of the guy and you may be right in thinking it, but its hardly right to say it at his funeral in front of his friends and family?

LIVERPOOLANYTIME was kind of like that. He came out with a crazy looney arguement in which he said the British government were behind the London bombings. I don't know whether he honestly believed that (if he didn't, he shoud be ashamed) but it may have been better had he kept his opinions to himself at the time.

The same thing happened again in relation to the thread this week about the policewoman who was shot dead. He lacked tact in that thread.

But if we are to be fair to LIVERPOOLANYTIME, he got singled out quite a lot. Sure, he had some irritating arguements and some views that some people found offensive, but he wasn't the only person making some crazy remarks lately. There were some looney views in peewee's thread before LIVERPOOLANYTIME posted. In fact, if we are to be fair, it was not Karim who brought race into the arguement, but somebody else. Peewee latched onto his comments instead of the other parties' remarks, which had been made earlier.

However, I can understand peewee's frustration. LIVERPOOLANYTIME never hid his hatred of the police and what I interpreted as a disrespect for the law, and I could see how this upset peewee. When Karim lost the run of himself, he made some nasty comments to peewee about Peter's former profession.

In constantly raging against the machine, LA made the same generalizations against the police and others in authority that racists make when they tar all minorities with the same brush. Sure, there are some bad and crooked cops out there, but the majority are hard working and honest public servants. In dismissing all cops as "pigs" LA deployed the same logic as a person who dismisses all Mulsims as terrorists or all minorities as Social Welfare scroungers. LA's problem was that he wanted it both ways.

I think though that some people had some problems with LA's anti-establishment views and they tended to personalise it before LA lost the run of himself. The whole "PC gone mad" argument was rolled out a bit too often for my liking.

LA was his own worst enemy. Like kindaconfused, Thomas and others before him, he was initially fairly ok with some cracked views which drew a lot of unfair criticism towards him. However, once he became centre of attention he revelled in it, and didn't know how to back down or be the bigger man by finishing the row. By the end he had just become contfrontational for the sake of it, and it simply :censored: too many people off.
