Its a problem with the video card.

Find out the name of the Video card, it will either be an ATI or an nVidia, although it may be an Intel or SIS onboard card.

You can find out the name of the card by going into Settings/Control Panel/Device Manager/Display Adapters and double click on display adaptor.

If it is an ATI card you need to download then newest ATI Catalyst drivers, which can be found at ATI's website.

If it is nVidia you need to get the newest nVidia drivers, which are called Forceware.

However, the pc should really run out of its box, regardless of the drivers. If the PC crashes/restarts and Windows has to reboot from the start, or if the PC freezes, its more likely its a hardware/physical problem, and your PC should be returned to its manufacturer under warranty.

If the games crashes back to desktop but you can run windows no problem then its a software problem.

Yeah it's only on 360.

I have to convince my mum to spend £300+ since I want to get Pro Evo 6 and NFS

It's not going to be easy :D

Got Pro Evo 6 this afternoon, and it dons a size 16 steel toe-capped wello and kicks FIFA 06's botty.

The game play is so much more realistic, and they've added numerous new abilities and skills to the players.

It is much more difficult to score aswell, with a seemingly completely different shooting technique to the old versions.

Snap-shots are easier, but so is ballooning the ball high and wide when you are trying to place it in the bottom corner!

You can also retain possession of the ball after a tackle, which is a big, big plus.

Having played both Pro Evo 6 and it's FIFA rival, I would rate the games thus:

Pro Evo 6: 95%

FIFA 06: 80%.

If you want the right team names and kits - you're a saddo.

If you want the gameplay - do not buy FIFA.

Just traded GOW and COD3 in at gamestation, GOW is a good game but I couldn't get into it, COD3 isn't bad but COD2 is more fun.

Bought Tiger Wood 2007 which is a good game. :)

yeah COD3 is very pretty but boring, nowhere near as good as COD2. I've got gow but I've not started it yet. I'm back into Geometry wars again.

I'm getting a three sexy for Xmas with Gears of War, Project Gotham 3, Pro Evo 6 and Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

I've also bought Kameo, Perfect Dark and CoD3 cheaply on Ebay. :blues:

Aye, the missus has been good to me this year. She got a great deal on the three sexy and the four games.

Bought Tiger Woods 2007 the other day, cracking game.

You can now get the firmware upgrades for the 360 which allow you to play 'backup' games and you can still play you original games online unlike when you went online with an original chipped Xbox and got banned from Xbox Live. :)

God I love my 360

Fifa 07 for 360 is friggin brilliant, WC 06 aint so bad, Winning Eleven 8 was amazing too
