Just got Bioshock and i love it. The whole gaming experience is brilliant, the graphics are spectacular and the AI very good. Gonna play it all day 2mora and it is well worth a look for anyone who likes FPS.

The next game I am looking forward to is Stranglehold which looks excellent with its matrix style shooting and aiming modes (downloaded the demo and must have played multiple times).
REST IN PEACE PHIL!

One answer, get a 360, lol.

Seriously mate AOL don't block gaming traffic as my mates are on AOL (for some stupid reason) and they have no problems with their PS3 or 360  :;):

I'd recommend resetting the router back to factory settings with no security or firewall to test, make sure you backup the router settings, what router is it? try checking the manufacturer's website for extra support.

Put a post on the Playstation forum, they might be able to help you further:

Bioshock is a FPS though, with 'elements' of an RPG. (thankfully) they've removed a lot of all that stuff. Oblivion et al...just not for me.

The world of Rapture is pretty much open to the player for exploring paul. Its not AS linear as you'd think. After all the hype surrounding this game, i have to say that most of it is indeed justified. Great game.

Sorry mate I didn't make myself very clear, I know Bioshock is a FPS but I mean I like FPS shooters which are blasters like GOW, Halo, Unreal Tounament and COD where there aren't any puzzles or sneaking about, I just like deathmatch situations and shooting fook outta people.

I really liked the demo but I could see myself playing it and putting it down after a couple of weeks, I'm weird like that as only a select few games actually keep me entertained  :(

Thats cool, each to their own.

Me, i loved Half-life 2 and those types, where you do have to spend a degree of the time spent 'figuring' stuff out in order to progress. This Bioshock is one of those rare games that bring similar mechanics. Not everybody's cuppa its true.  Im kind of hoping that the Halo 3 single player campaign is going to provide an 'experience' too. Because the multiplayer 'blast/shoot em up run around find a loaded BR etc rinse and repeat ad infinitum' didnt impress me at all. I just love a bit of 'stealth' in my games i guess.

Agreed mate, thats what i loved about half life 2, taking your time figuering out how to open the gate or reach to the top, its frustrating but so much fun. Its good news that bioshock has similar aspects to it.

I also love FPS games that you just go and shoot people, their awesome because usually games like that would put so much enemies to kill. My favorite games are FPS games, just love them.

I'm lending my mates Halo 2 today until number 3 comes out, I need to get some practice in as I haven't played it for about 2 years, I need to get used to things like hanging a gun in each hand and the jumping while shooting, I know it's an old game but I'm really excited about playing it again

Just finished listening to the most recent Bungie podcast. They were talking about Forge, and it really does sound amazing. So many possibilities...

Q: Does Halo 3 support local play in multiplayer (split screen), if it does how many players?

G.R.A.W 2 Map pack - 'Throwback'  is up on Marketplace for nowt.  :;):

Same as them Gears ones they put out a while back will be, next month. Way to go. F**k actually paying for this stuff...it should be in the retail version from the off!

The reason why XBOX360 is getting the GRAW content free now is cos they released the PS3 version of it, aready WITH that content included.  :glare:
