All i know is, we are on VM 4 meg and i split my connection between the 360 and this PC through a router..im unaware of it hindering my D/L's mate. I can still do that anyway, if that answers the question. By and large there is no problem.(recently )

Then again im based in the UK, so....you may have it different.

lol.. well its different than in the UK.

for example, i download a file that is 100mb, and my download limit is 4 geg, so basically im taking 100 mb from my 4 geg, so it leaves me with 3.9 gegs left. Its a rip off here giving us download limits.

i have DSL, 512 kb upload speed, any good for xbox live? and how do you connect it wirelessly to the 360? i do have a wireless roauter.

Yeah just realised MH. Expansion pack available for PC like this:

Your spec sounds OK for Live. I have a wireless router as well but use it wired, for some reason it causes less hassle. Saint might know the ins and outs.

Ive been getting them 3 monthly cards, around £12 or so off fleabay. But i might get the full yearly one next time - about £40 odd last time i checked.

Ive just had a quick look on ebay and there is a few even cheaper (mines due in September, so i might get one)

But be careful..some of these really cheap ones, eg there's one on there now for about £20 for a year! which is great...until you read that its for a NEW account only. Whereas im needing one for RENEWING an existing account. Just a heads up, there is a difference.

But on the whole, they are cheap enough. (I feel like the bloody QVC Channel tonight!)

i told my local store that bioshock will be out soon, so as soon as it gets out he will bring it for me. I usually get them on the cheap because i fixed the software in the 360, so i play copy games :laugh:

X-BOX LIVE would use part of your 4gig download Metalhead. Same as if you stream video off the net or use a internet phone Skype etc.

I found this but I have no idea if its correct
you'd use 1 Gb for every 24 hours of online gaming.

100 kbits ps = 12 kbytes per second
1000 / 12 = 83 seconds to use 1 megabyte
83 x 1000 = 83,000 seconds to use 1 gigabyte
83,000 / 3600 = 23 hours to use 1 gigabyte
