Right we all have our won little superstitions or habits and rituals for various reasons and events. So what are yours, and be honest!!!!

Here are mine, some have reasons, but some are just habit and for no real apparent reason:

*Dont walk under ladders (put it first as its the most common probably!)

*Dont walk on drain covers

*Dont walk on paving slabs that have a crack right across
from one side to the other

*When dressing always put left sock on first

*Bite my nails (bad habit..Arrrggghh!!)

*Never leave the toilet seat up(so many doesnt 'go down the drain' its Feng Shui, but Mum taught me that since I was about 4)

*When playing footy - I put left shinpad on first, followed by the right, but then I have to put the right sock on first

*I never use 'Neutral' whether driving manual or automatic

*Wont Sh*t anywhere other than home (apart from Family homes or on Holiday!...Never at work..EVER!!!)

*ALWAYS have to play music when in shower, be it midnight or 7am...It WILL be loud!

*Use 'Encona Hot Pepper Sauce' on my food..ALWAYS

*Always fall asleep on my left side, unless F*cked with drink!

*Never drink directly from a can

*Never use the first three papers in a packet of Rizla

Thats all I can think of right now, I know there are others, but they are probably so habitual that I dont consider them anything other than 'normal'.
Anyway, enough of me, what are you lots then??  Come on share em...not matter how weird, but nothing illegal eh??

:D

for me some have got to be putting new shoes (whether they be in a box or not) on a table and also when someone knocks the salt over i always pick a bit of salt spilt and throw it over my shoulder. I also don't walk under ladders, also as anytime said i wnt sh*t anywhere but  at home or in a hotel room either. Also when at a church I never touch graves (don't ask why because even I don't know the answer)

The others are

not crossing on the stairs and putting shoes on a table.
I also believe in this saying.

find a penny
pick it up
and all day
you will ........have a penny.

My only ones are entirely match related - when I go I have to have a sausage roll and a coke from the same vendor at the match, from the same woman (who, for my troubles calls me all kinds of pains in the ar$e despite me always ordering the same thing), even if i've had a skinfull beforehand!

I then put me braclet from me nan (god rest her soul) in my pocket so she won't hear me swearing like a trooper (seriously) and then have to put a chewy in the gob just as YNWA starts...... funking magic.

And funking crazy as well....... :p

My superstitions are purely football related:

When I'm playing it has to be the number 9 shirt every time and my warm up has to be the same order every time (quads, calfs, etc, etc).  When I'm hitting the penalties I always hit them to the keeper's right and low and when I take the corners it has to be the same routine for placing the ball every time.

When I'm watching Liverpool I have to wear the current home strip every game, and I always have to look away just before our player hits a penalty and then just look up as the ball is hit.

Obviously none of this does any god but :censored: it :)
