The best curry sauce i've tasted is a toss up between 2 chippies . The first one was Ace's (pronounced Akkies) just by Garston park there, it was feckin luvely , used to eat it with a portion of scollops and it used to stain your fingers fo day's or there was the Golden goose or duck at the bottom of western avenue in speke .We used to buy a portion of chip's and carton of curry , scoff the chip's and drink the curry , it was absolutly amazing stuff . By the way lynds me missus got barred out of the pansy years ago for dancing on the tables in one of her drunken moments. She used to work in the old peoples home up the road Jessica house . THere was an ale ouse on the corner called hornies or something like that.

red37 wrote:Right. This is probably aimed at the northern lads in here - in particular those from my neck of the woods when growing up. I can only speak for the areas of Widnes/south Liverpool and maybe as far as Chester way. (Cos i had it there once). And not the rest of the country...especially the southern ponces who are all 'cosmopolitan enough already' and don't agree with some of our scran up here. F**k off then.

Old style Chippy curry sauce that was red hot and stank the house out!

Thats the one - how i miss it

Nothing comes close - NOTHING. Ive had (and made) sh1t loads of curries in my lifetime and not once have i managed to stumble across the kind of taste im after anywhere available to buy. Even the best chinkies ive had aren't really the same...

Life will forever be poorer for not having that fiery stuff poured over me chips, with loads of buttery bread as well.

KCSS

if you lived in my town, you'd love the chippy curry here mate

real fish and chips with real curry sauce

dogs bollox it is  :)
