I can never understand the bookies odds. So would some one explain to me what 68/2 means???

The left hand side is the muliplier and the right your stake.

35/1 gets you 35 times your original stake (plus your original stake back).

9/2 gets you four and a half times your stake (plus your original stake back).

Its basically a fraction type thing. so 6/4 is one and a half times 100/30 is 3.3333333 times etc...

To work out any bet its simple the left of the line divided by the right of the line plus one multiplied by your stake (how much you bet).

35/1 if you bet £2 on it will get you:

35 divided by 1 = 35 plus 1, times by 2 = £72.

68/2 means if you put £2 on Kazza being evicted you would win £68, plus your stake back, totalling a £70 return

again 35/1 means you will win £35 for every pound gambled.

The general rule is the more a bet stands to win, the less likely it is it will happen. Also watch for odds rapidly shortening, meaning lots of people are betting on it & maybe they know something.

i will not touch Poultry from this day on.

Then again, isnt it bizarre after the run up to Christmas 2005 when the whole world was talking about Bird-flu - with numerous identified cases across the globe.....then throughout virtually the whole of last year, hardly a peep? Sales figured restored? (which is the reason for the conspiracy in hiding the facts in the first place i suspect)

Now all of a sudden, its in the public's attention again. Through no other purveyor of all things poultry than  "Only Bernard f**kin Mathews" thats who......Who as a major supplier/processor of the stuff (and holds significant responsibilities due to that status).  Might have done us all a favour once and finally for all - 'Bootiful!!'

Now i believe the situation has got that bad that no one from the Govt. can deny its prevalence any longer....it is here. it is real. and it will become pandemic eventually. Until an antidote is developed. Scary stuff.

It makes you realise in even greater focus (or it should do) the effects of what exactly you are putting in your mouth....(no innuendo intended). And therefore...whether you have ANY choice at all in the future wellbeing of both your own and your families prospects based on what there is fit for their consumption....   

Chicken....Beef...Eggs....Turkey....Lamb...GM crops....et cetera et cetera.

most of it tainted in recent years through disease or some other instance affecting its mass appeal. But even turning Vegan has its 'Dark side' infact it has many, from a nutritious perspective, not least the degenerative conditions to the Human body associated with adhering to its dubious principles.

Now any one care for a glass of 'Corporation pop'      funny as it sounds...it might also be the safest bet there is.

Dietary requirements?  Dont make an old chef blush Mr Blair - shame on you! I despair for the world...i really do.

(But the things ive seen while working in an Abbatoir/Processing plant would haunt you for life)  no wonder Food is constantly headline making fodder..

we all forgot about it because the summer came in and there wasnt much chance of us gettin git but now the winter is in its back

St michael obviously think u wont be evited next.68/2 is 34/1,which means if u put 1 pound on u get 34 back and ur 1pound back aswell,if ur 3/2,u get 3 pound back if u put 2 pound on,thats 1.50/1
