It's that time again, when we applaud those amongst us who have been both a blessing and a curse. It is the 2009 awards ceremony.

Below you will see the categories and nominees. PM me who you want in all categories, and Monday night I will post up the results. Its just a little bit of fun to brighten up the mood of the forum, and if anyone is left out, it's because I'm hungover and just forgot... so on we go...

Ben Patrick - even though i only just found out that he is ace ventura in disguise

Mod of the year

Bad Bob - some don't like his teacherly approach but i find it warm and comforting

Heimdell - not quite sure how he motivates himself to get out of bed in the morning. i miss him.

LFC2007 - i'd normally give this to mick all day but i think his standards have dropped and he's let the nobheads get to him.

Whoever wins what at the end of the day in my eyes we all make a vital contribution in making this place great. I know I moaned not so long ago about this forum being dead but it's still the first site I check on the train in to work, at lunch times and in the evening.

I've been lucky enough to go to quite a few games this year and meet a few of here and in the words of one of a fellow newkitter that I met at one all I can say is, it's the long lasting friendship between fans that makes it all worthwhile. And sure we are going through some tough times but it's these times what make the good times so much sweeter when they come back around and they will come back soon! 

Roll on 2010. Merry Xmas all!
