Can any of the Mods please take off the MUTV ad that keeps flashing up at the the top of the Home page please!! :angry:

It is not from the forum, I don't think the mods can do anything about it

Sadly, we have no power to moderate the site's advertising or the Manc stuff would have been carded ages ago. :D

ads are activated by your own browsing preferences....At the top of the page for me are ads for florida and english country cottages.....if you see porn then it's what you browse most, if it's mancs then you tend to browse in mutv.....be careful what you browse because Big brother is watching you

half right, yeah.  though it can be a bit more generic than that. you can browse general football sites such as skysports, football365 you can still end up with utd ads. I aint been on redcafe or any utd based/owned website since we beat them back at the beginning of march. had no utd adverts for 5 months then saw one yesteday. go figure.

Im getting a lot of Manc ads today and I don't think ive been on any Manc websites... I have been on skysports and some sites like that and I was following the Schneider situation on google.

There is a solution people. For all those using either Firefox or Google Chrome to view this website, there is an extension called AdBlock you should install.

I blocked the ads ages ago.

and for anyone like myself thats in work and not allowed to install things on the machine... just minimize the window a small bit and scroll down before the ad appears when you refresh  :D

In addition, i've used Ghostery (blocks Ads etc) for a while now and found it to be very good product. It's free.
