whilst the s*n is clearly in a league of it's own for sh*tness, all tabloids really are a pile of sh*te. Let me give you an example, any paper which uses the following words and phrases should be ceremonially burnt on Fleet Street and never read again

love rat
love nest

tipple
ordinary folk
onlooker
phew what a scorcher
a source revealed
a close friend said
england expects
roly poly (ie FAT)
heart-throb
gobsmacked
saucy

do you know gobsmacked isn't actually a word? it's a banal expression first coined by cilla black

That Admiral Car insurance advert, the one which starts with the young lad crying his head off, bastard, I'll give the tw@t something to cry for, then finishes off with the annoying parrot that says 'Your nothing without me' - FUCK OFF you overgrown budgie!

Another shit advert is the 3 mobile phone ones. Make no sense.

I find the adverts for Ocean Finance the worst. The one with that woman who has a half-plastic face grinning at you, trying to sound well-spoken until the last sentance. "Why not see what we 'av to offa." In fact any of the loan adverts :censored:

It's the short sponsor things that annoy me. "Who's in the Hut?" is on either side of the Simpsons on Channel 4. Does anyone know what's going on with them? I feel like a lost and dithery old man wondering what they're talking about. They don't make me feel like ordering a pizza, more like never going to Pizza Hut again and writing off all pizzas as young-people-food!

yeah i hate the pizza hut thing, what the hell is that about.

also i used to hate those michael winner adverts, "calm down dear, its only a commercial", thank good they cut them, but the new one with the shitbag mouse isnt much better
