As for the man personally well ....... Its funny to see many armchair revolutionaries in this thread concluding he was a nailed on Paedo. Its quite sad to see their media/press swayed opinions hung draw and quarter a man of which they no very little of. Infact NOT many people actually knew who the real Michael Jackson was and it is quite humuorous to read the armchair revolutionaires view as if it were gospel. I personally think MJ was stiched up for money I don't think he was what many on here have made him out to be. He was aquitted twice I think before the American courts so make of that what you will. Guilty guys are found out innocent granted, but I believe this was an innocent man found innocent of a crime alluded to him to cough up a pay deal. Obviously if the likes of many on here would rather go with the tabloids and media for their own evidence in which to make their assumptions. Not alot can be said then, it is amazing how the media can position the readers of text and print to side with the theory they want the demograhic to believe. Unfortuantely many citizens across social cultures are not critical analyses and therefore cannot think for themselves. If the press say Jackson is guilty or implies, the majority of demographic being the cattle like thinkers they are believe it.

RIP MJ

:bowdown

Spot On.

RIP MJ

was just listening to that song... Lost - Coldplay & JayZ...

[Jay-Z]
Aha, I gotcha, uh...
With the same sword they knight you, they gon' good night you with
:censored:, that's only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
See Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas
See Caesar, see Brutus, see success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified
Media meddles, n****z sue you, you settle
Every step you take, they remind you you're ghetto
So it's tough being Bobby Brown
To be Bobby then, you have to be Bobby now
And the question is, "Is to have had and lost
Better than not having at all?"
Because I'm...

Oh and I, just waiting ‘til the shine wears off
Oh and I, just waiting ‘til the shine wears off

Apple unwitting beneficiary of Jackson death

As millions have sought to pay tribute to Michael Jackson following his sudden death on Thursday, Apple has inadvertently found itself profiting from the occasion through the iTunes Store.

As of Friday evening, six out of the top ten songs being purchased on the US store belonged to the legendary singer, while a staggering nine out of ten top albums came from the musician. About 19 of the top 25 music videos were either for Jackson specifically or else one of his collaborative projects, such as the "We Are the World" charity song. No previous artist, living or dead, has achieved that level of popularity on the music service since it opened in 2003.

While undoubtedly beneficial for Apple, the company has been restrained in its approach to the tragedy. Beyond posting a single banner to honor Jackson's passing -- a customary gesture it has regularly made for other artists, such as James Brown or Johnny Cash -- the company has not taken any extra steps to advertise its song library.

Hmm, yes. This is all very nicely put, accept for the fact that you are omitting the fact that the man was indeed a space cadet.

John Lennon, Jim Morrison, the fella from the stones (canny think of his name) and many many more celebs were or are "space cadets", what is you're point?

Many artists, entertainers, inventors or any kind of pioneers in their field were often considered a "space cadet," from Van Gough to Einstein to Michael Jackson and back to Salvador Dahli. Many of the worlds pioneers were 'off their nut' so to speak and this world would be a whole lot more mundane without them.  :nod

Well, not quite.

John Lennon, Jim Morrison, the fella from the stones (I presume you mena Keith Richards?) were / are all grounded somewhat in reality.

Wacko Jacko was out there though. Way out there. Sleeping in stasis chambers (hoping to live for 150 years), adopting chimps, dangling babies over balconies, destroying his face with the weirdest of plastic surgey addiction and, eh, oh yeah...sleeping with young boys in the same bed (not that he was a "a nailed on Paedo").

Sorry, but John Lennon, Jim Morrison, the "fella from the stones" haven't a patch on him.

RIP though

I'm not one to bullsh*t and write a novel to make a point. Laymen's terms is more my style. So, in order to be known as a genuine genius, you have to be a bit loopy?
