Planning a trip to china next year .Gonna look up Joko , Anniadorer and any other chinese based members who are daft enough to provide me with their addresses .

Anyone been to China ? any recommendations ?

hi woof, glad you're about to be here visiting our country
shang hai and beijing must be having a wide range of features n facilities like what you have in london but i live far from there, i live around shenzen and guang zhou, near to HK
we are here not as rich as those cities, but if you come, please enjoy, and ccome visit me and pm me any chance you like

Cheers Joko, still in the planning stages right now . With china being so BIG I've decided to concentrate on a particular province . Right now I'm considering Yunnan ,particularly the area around Li Jiang .

Having said that I'm also keen to visit the Great Wall in more remote areas (?) like Gansu and Ningxia .

never been there woof, but should any chance you visit hong kong, my home is in new territories and my office located in cause way bay. many england expatriates are also based around there, i sometimes hang around with them watching liverpool matches in a pub. as warm as joko's offer, don't hesitate to pm me anytime you like any chance you pass by. there are some good places here to visit. but i plan to leave for indonesia around aug 8 and probably to spend about a month there.

Not been myself Woof but I've seen lots of pictures and, if it were me, I'd be checking out this area on the Li River near Guilin (SE China):

My dad went to china for business reasons! he loves it, he has been to HK and been to the great wall of china he really liked it. He is going this october i told him to take me!

then he told me to go learn chinese

Yeah that is the mutts nuts Bob . Saw a similar landscape in Thailand but that ones deffo going on my list , SE China you say , I'm considering Yunnan which is east and kinda south . Out with me atlas again.
