Yesterday!!!
26th Spt 2005 an historical statement was read !!

It claimed that all of the PIRA,s weapons had been buried  in concrete  never to be used agaiin!!
What it really meant to say was 'We buried all our old weapons that we cannot use as they are rusty now'

Please people dont be fooled by what are nothing short of liars and thieves!!!!

No offence Baz but thing this is wrong section for that mate, thing we all know about it anyway but it should be discussed in a different section thats all

I'm so happy anyway. Plus it's a ray of hope for the majority of basques who want to leave in peace. If a tougher conflict of terrorism have been fixed , then there's hope for ours.

Here the problem is that some radical Spanish sectors wouldn't accept an end to the conflict with ANY kind of concessions, and some radical basques wouldn't stop killing if some unrealistic goals weren't achieved. The other 95% of people is sick of all this situation.

I know there is still lots to be achieved to have real social peace, but I'm just so happy of not seeing in the tv the kind of terror that could be seen in the eighties...

there is no such thing as 'god', i may be ignorant to the politics( thank f.uck) but it all appears a bit religious ffs. duke it out, straighteners all round, losers can then wind their necks back in.

It's foolish to compare the British/Irish conflict to that of your situation in my eyes!
I may be wrong and i am not in a position to judge as i am ignorant to the Basque cause,not seeing much apart from the big bombs!!
And do me a favour,dont be happy for a peace that aint there or you dont understand!!

FFS, give the guy a break, he was just trying to show some empathy, seen as he can kind of relate. Now need to take your frustrations out on a fellow (overseas?) liverpool fan.
