l recently had to have everything reinstalled on my pc and for some reason the avatars dont move anymore    any ideas ?

I see it moving.Your computer is probably a bit sluggish.

You might need to upgrade your web browser to a newer version that's what plays the animation

Aye an if it's IE, I'd put on the latest service pack.

If you use IE you can also check the "tools" >> "internet options" >> "advance" >> "multimedia" >> make sure the "play animation" is ticked.

If still not working
Not sure what version of OS you use, if you use WinXP, go to start, setting, control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove window components, unistall the IE, reinstall the IE, restart, make sure to prepare the source CD.

If you use other OS, you should simply re-install the IE from a standalone ware (uninstall the old one first will probably be better)

PLAY ANIMATION. is ticked alsq tried another browser, mozilla . still the same

I had a problem with avatars as well.Turns out it was a new  firewall blocking animated images.
