It's obviously a bit less realistic than football manager if you've managed to build a team like that - or else you've found a cheat!
e.g. chelski and barcelona suddenly sign your youth players for 85 mil each

FM2005 allows you to have multiple players, FIFA Manager 2006 only allows 4 - but you can scam more money, at the moment I have £4.7Billion in the bank, after just 1/2 a season!
Playing it properly, it is more difficult that FM2005 to get results - Refs/linesmen actually make mistakes! It's far better than FM2005, with the added benefit of watching the matches in 3D. Although, like all footy sims, it doesn't seem to allow for strikers loosing form! With Kewell on the left and Dario Srna on the right - Nando scored 19 in the Premiership!!! pity it's not real life

You actually see the player's playing in 3D instead of flat counters. You can develop the stadium, training facilities, etc, building hotels, shopping centres, underground station and parking spaces, warehousing for merchantising, tv station, etc. It is harder, the refs make mistakes!!
no offence mate but that sounds
...
its not the managers job to to develop club facilities.
You can select your responsibilities from a list, it's highly configurable - personally, I'm a control freek - and I do everything, right down to deciding the cost of tickets!
i can believe that
