You know when you were a kid and you were told by people that if you dug a hole in the ground you would end up in Australia?

Sorry to our Australian members but I'm a Scouser!!! Just a figure of speech if you're from this part of the world!!!

I found a link that enables you to find your location on Google Earth and you then click a link that says dig!!! It will take you vertically to where you would end up if you dug to the other side of the world.

I'll try and find it again, give me a few minutes, I never saved it in my favouriites.

For what it's worth, if like me you are from Liverpool, you would have ended up drowning in the middle of the Pacific!!!!

ive just spent the last hour trying to find the hotel we stayed in in prague last feb. found it, and even tracked me way along the tram lines into city centre! MAD!

this is one of the very very few problems about having a mac - no google earth yet...

but from what i've seen it's boss, and i love the digging version. apparently i'd just miss hitting new zealand.
