Anyone know of any shop/beercellar place where I can go get me a car boot full of Desperado beer? I've tried all the supermarkets with no joy. Anyone?

Desperado. Old Spanish for Hopeless. I wonder why the english speakers love the word so much. When I was in Ireland there was a soap opera called Desperado IIRC, now a beer called Desperado.

IMHO bringing a beer with tequila flavour is a travestry. Tequila must be drunk 2 ways

1) Either you drink tequila shot, and then the beer.

or

2) Bit of salt in your left hand, pass the tongue through it, then drink the tequila shot, and then lemon.

Anyhow, I can't stand tequila since I got a big one with it

Last time I tried that I was too bevvied. Licked my hand when it already had salt on.
Grabbed a bottle of beer to wash my mouth, but it was full of ciggy butts.
Puked over the balcony - I did not look cool in front of the ladies!

Can't fault you for confidence Sabre , but telling the English how to drink ANYTHING is a bit like trying to teach a chinaman how to use chopsticks IMHO .

Yeh, but you're talking to a Spaniard, the nationality that brought Tequila, Tobacco and other harmful products to Europe :D

Seriously not trying to teach, just sharing how I do things around here, as sometimes is different and we have a laugh in the process. I like to read aswell how you lot have fun and what's your traditions when drinking, having fun and all that.

That's the difference between our countries. You honour your distinguised men, and we burn them

Did Raleigh predate Columbus? Because  two men of his crew were burnt by the Spanish Inquisition, as only a demon could breath smoke through the mouth (they were smoking).

Felipe the II started to bring it massively in 1559.

Since they were burnt they didn't reach to be famous like Raleigh, I guess. They were the first two men to discover tobacco could cost your life.
