Now then Dazzer, go back and find that population growth link on the last page wherever and see how population growth exploded between 1800 and current day. Further, look at this, you probably understand pictures better: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Population_curve.svg

Stalin starved millions, Mao starved millions and africa has starved millions.

Capitalism which rewards hard work, feeds the world.

So your comment that 'we pretty much made the world a sh.it place for every one' is complete, complete bollox.

Well Griffin has made a complete tw@t of himself which I suppose was to be expected!

I did laugh at the comment from that guy in the audience about sending him to the South Pole.  :D

I started watching but realised that it was pointless. Whatever the guy came out with would be mocked and take the attention away from the rest of the parties who, although not as bad as the BNP, certainly are not much better. I dont trust any of them, and find it laughable how other politicians can lecture Griffin about morals. If they had some themselves then maybe they would be worth listening to, as it is though.....

Anyway, turned over to Channel 4 and watched Saw 3 instead, more entertaining !

Thought they didn't do that much harm to him really.

I thought they should have not attacked him at start just put some questions to him calmly.

Give him enough rope and that guiy would hang him self.  :nod

I think at some points they made him look half decent like when they asked about Islam and he said about equal rights for woman and he got alot of support.

You have ot be smart with these rightys ask the right questions and get them to feck up which I think they didn't do.

What do you mean my point ? point is he was talking about capitalism and I was stating I believe in this ?

Did you even bothing to follow the link and read the intro ? It would have helped if you was trying to understand me to do that.If you don't care to understand and put time in to read it then I fail to see why you moaning about this point I was making.Either way you had the info there to find out my point but clearly failed to use it and I guess thats my fault.

I read your post and looked at your link, none of it imo substantiates your claim that  .

"we pretty much made the world a sh.it place for every one"

I think you're overly fond of the sweeping generalisations as evidenced by yet another piece of tin banging

"Right so we import most of our (veg and fish mostly atm) food from africa while they starve ?

Fruit and Veg from Africa account for around only 15% of uk imports. We import far more fish from Iceland, Germany and China. I suppose we british are to blame for the starving millions in those countries as well ?.

Yeah and that actually annoys me. The most fundamental thing I believe in is democracy. I hate socialists and commies but I respect there right of assembly, as much as I despise what the BNP stand for, being a Norwegian living in the UK, I respect their rights as well. They are a completely irrelevant and ghastly party and will show themselves up tonight on question time.
All that these protesters are doing is giving them more publicity and giving the BNP someone to shake their stick at. At the moment, if asked, most people would probably condemn these anti-fascism people more than they would condemn the BNP appearing on question time, it's a stupid tactic from the protesters.

You live in the UK?

uhoh  :lookaround  I've said too much

yes I do, grew up here, university etc

They are a racist group. They have no rights and no place in a democracy.

erm  ???  ???  Did I somehow give the impression I was supporting the BNP?
I have no idea how you got that impression but I can assure you that I don't, I'm an imigrant to the UK myself.

We import most of our veg and fish from Africa, that's news to me mate, do you have some figures on that please.

The problem with Africa as far as I can figure it out, is firstly massive corruption, secondly the tribal conflicts which to a large extent was cuased by collonisation carving up Africa with no regards to tribal borders etc but still get with the times Africa.! and thirdly, and hideously ironic, an over reliance on foreign aid.

About the only countries which used to work in Africa were South Africa and Zimbabwe which were based to a large extent on UK law. Yes yes Apartheid was abhorent, I totally agree, but the system of government is at least in place and there is now democracy, at least in SA.

the overwhelming problem in the world is too many people, and it will only get worse, either we get really clever and good with GM foods or there'll inevitably be a massive war somewhere.
