This morning I've thought of all the Aussies around here.

I'm an IT and apart from doing web maintenance and network administering, I have to attend in summer the people that come from all around the world to say their conferences.

And I had a bad time this morning, I put the portable MAC, I connect it to the network of my working place, I connect it to the sound system, and I connect it to the plug, but WTF?

the plug was like this /_ \ instead of |_| !!!! fortunately enough I found an adaptator we had somewhere in the storage room, but I just was lucky !!! Why don't you have normal straight plugs??? I really hated Australia this morning.

Well I've been lucky. Do you know why the girl called me "chief" all the time? You Aussies are strange!!!

(I just wanted to protest about this for a laugh, but if I hadn't the adaptator I'd be :veryangry

right now)

calling you chief is the same as people calling you 'ace' . Its annoying but it could have been much worse.

As for Australian sockets and plugs, got to agree with you, they are a pain in the butt

All of Europe (with the exception of Britain) seems to have these plugs:

These are SHAVER plugs! They should NOT be added to TV's, DVD players, stereo's, etc!!!
