right, I don't know what yous are gonna make of this. I'm about to finish Uni this year and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do after. Basically I went to Uni as a personal challenge to myself just to see if I could do it and, being the first in my family to do so, I'm pretty proud of it...but I have no plans for employment.

So, my question is, how did all of you come to end up doing what it is you do for a living and, if it isn't your ideal career, what you you like to do?

I dont think many people are doing jobs that they would have envisaged doing when they were younger mate.
I work in insurance for fecks sake

Its a decent job though and i actually dont mind coming to work in the morning - unless i have been out the night before like

Mine will be obvious, i wanted to play football, dream job that would be.

okay in all honesty.

i idolized michael owen. i paid him extra attention when i watched liverpool games, i looked him up whenever he got on the newspapers. i wanted to be the number 10 for liverpool.

i now have wisened up and hope to be a journalist.

I was a tailor for a while but couldn't cut it. Then I was butcher but couldn't handle the grind. I next tried my hand at carpentry but my boss called me a useless tool. And so on and so forth...
