I was and still am in shock and great sadness at his untimely death at the tender age of 29.

I knew the lad from his time playing at Lincoln (my hometown).
He was playing at Macclesfield, who also lost a good friend of Butch's in there manager, whom i also met when he was managing the imps, Keith Alexander who passed away in March 2010. Cause of his death is currently unknown.

My thoughts go out to his family.
