Psv vs milan

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

dun really care who we meet in the finals but though PSV seem the 'easier' choice, i'll rather go for Milan.

Rafa always seem to have this special ability to rise the players games when they take on so called 'stronger opponents'. Gotto admit i feared the worst when we drew Juve in the quarters but Rafa has once again won over me with his astute knowledge of the European game. Bring on Shev, Kaka and Maldini, in a one off final like this, anything goes...

anyway, back to tonites game, milan may be leading 2-0 but remember when they led Deportivo 4-1 from the first leg and got hit left, right and centre (and left again) at the Raizor? and lost the tie 5-4 on aggregate. Not saying that PSV will do that tonite, in fact, i think its going to be a goal less draw or a one-nil win to either side. dun see many goals in this game.

Come on guys, we had all the tension and shrunken balls yesterday, today lets grab a beer, sit back and see who our istanbul opponents will be.

P.S. hey maureen.....  :rasp

Milan will win, then we can beat the team that knocked out ManUre.

THEN I want to see Fergie interviewed!

Don't really care if we get Milan or PSV. If a team get this far in the champions league it does not mean they are easy sh1t......Even if we get milan, it should be no problem if the team performs like we did against chelsea.

Knowing us we'd struggle against PSV.  We'd be more up for it against Milan

Looks like it will be Milan anyway, can't see PSV scoring 2 against them (best defence in serieA)

We've nothing to fear from any team at this stage in the competition, we've proved we can beat the best so lets do it again!!

AC Milan were very lucky in the first leg, but no doubt that they will go through.

Yeah PSV were unlucky not to get an away goal the score line flattered milan in a game which was played mostly in the milan half.

I thought Milan all the way b4 the game but that goal was a cracker and they aint lookin like the best defence in serie a at the moment.

They play in a similar way to Juventus and Chelsea and we know what happened to them.

Couldn't rule PSV out yet though.

I'd rather play Milan. And we CAN beat them.

Park just scored a few minutes ago with Maldini off injured after getting overhead kicked in the head (what a defender, but nuthin on Carradonna!) by Vennegor of Hesselink (hehe the best name in footy, must be??!!).

Anyway 2 be honest i would prefer Milan for a number of reasons, and here they are (in no particular order):

+They beat Manure and that would shut those mancs right up!

+They r top of Seria A with juve, putting out the two topitalian teams, what more can i say? oh yeah the English champions too may i add!!!

+If we end playing PSV and win, people will always say 'yeah but it was PSV' (Dutch champions i may add,ok dutch league aint great..kezman was top scorer :D haha!! but they can only beat what is in front of them.

+also Milan have MANY WORLD CLASS PLAYERS (basically every first teamer if u really think about it!!...and i mean WORLD CLASS, as that term seems to be banded about TOO often nowadays, and to beat that team would just be an immense victory...it will/would be hard,,,but we can do it!!!!!

C'mon the reds

YNWA

PS......Milan slowly getting back into the game now with 44mins gone
