Barcelona battered by Bayern ! 8-2

Barcelona absolutely dreadful. Massive restructuring required before they win anything again

Definitely looks like an end of an era for them, they're only going down from here IMO. Their downfall started a a season or two before this (frist they lost from Roma then next season lost against us), but yesterday looked like the final nail in their coffin.

I hope they end up at least like Man United but unfortunately there are no rivals to take their place in Spain.

Karma is a bitch !!

Lyon 3 City 1

They have abused the system for years and tonight the filthy rich entitled arrogant sh1ts got exactly what they deserved !! Girlieola’s face at the end was just great to see !!

Different season same stuff, as De Bruyne said in their post match. Everybody thinks City might win it until they bottle it and drop out, often embarrassingly. And they deserve every bit of it.

I was really starting to flap that their name was on it, doubly gutting for them because they would have strongly fancied themselves to get past Lyon when the draw was made.
Getting dumped out of the CL feels terrible no matter what the circumstances but it always seems to feel worse when you go out a side you were expected to beat.

Absolutely fking loved Sterlings miss. 5 yards out from an open goal and he puts what should be a simple tap in over the bar   It will haunt him for years to come

Woof it was just a great night !! I was still laughing at Sterling's miss when Lyon scored 59 seconds later. They may have dodged a bullet in court but it could be that 50/50 VAR decisions will go against them which is the very minimum they deserve for abusing the fair play system for years. Lovely work by City's goalie as well  Is winning the League Cup enough for Girlieola to keep his job. They pay him more than £15m a year and if I was the owner I would expect a lot more than a pathetic league performance and failing to reach the semis or the final of the CL yet again.

Looks like Sterling has paid You Tube to remove the video you posted  I was screaming fk that's a goal as the little runt somehow managed to put it over the bar - possibly the best footballing moment of the year

The really frustrating thing is how we managed to get turned over by that annoying pillock Simione at Anfield. Mind you I think it will take a special performance to beat Bayern. Klopp however is probably just the man to do it.

If Alisson was in goal against Atletico we’d still be in the CL ourselves but one bad night shouldn’t overshadow those 3 months where Adrian really stepped up to the plate for us in the league. The league was the big one for us, that was the one that meant the most and as we as a fan base well know dodgy keeper’s can sink title challenges as easily as icebergs can sink ships, well when it really mattered Adrian was there for us, not for one or two weeks but for a third of the season (11 league games), it was the third of the season where we pulled away from the rest of the pack as well.
I’m not going to slag off Adrian, he played a significant role in bringing the Holy Grail back to Anfield.

Sevilla were so bad, cannot believe they won. ManUre will try to spend their way out but with all other teams chasing the same players they will end up overpaying for average players, they don’t have the same draw they used too.

Couldn’t believe that the scumbags didn’t score in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Nearly as funny as Mr Sitter (Sterling’s new name) missing an open goal !!    Seville weren’t great but they did defend as if their lives depended on it. Just a great weekend.

Over the last 5 years City and United have spent nearly £1b between  them and this year they have a Charity Shield and the League Cup to show for it - IMPRESSIVE  !! Some clown on Blue Moan reckons City need to spend £500m to get back on top !! Entitled shower of pillocks !!

PSG 0-1 Bayern Munich

PSG freeze again in the biggest stage, Bayern have their feared strike force right in their pocket all night...can't help but wondered what a match this would be if it is us against Bayern

Congrats to Coutinho for his 1st CL medal  :nod
