Which formation to employ you'd like to see? Who to fill each position?

In yesterdays game against Newcastle Baros was magnificent which earned him man of the match. Baros prefers playing along side another striker and has asked Benitez to stick with the same formation.

I recent weeks Benitez has been playing a 4-5-1 system with Baros or Mellor up front. However at the start of the season Liverpool played with a 4-4-2 formation before Cisse broke his leg in the Blackburn game.

The 4-5-1 formation didn't suit Baros the way Benitez would have liked. Baros likes to attack the goal, but when hes up there on his own he often loses the ball or has to pass backwards.

In yesterdays game against Newcastle Benitez decided to go back to a 4-4-2 formation with Baros and Mellor as Liverpool's striking force. It worked to great affect with both players scoring. Baros produced a man of the match performance which has set him back on track after a few rusty games on his return from injury.

It doesn't matter as long as we win. 4-4-2 we usually play against midtable sides and bottom half sides, 4-5-1 we use against Mancs,Chelsh!t and the Gooners.
