David Ngog put in a good performance yesterday against Sunderland scoring and assisting benayouns goal. I for one was so annoyed when i saw he was starting but whilst watching the game was glad Rafa started him.

Yes,
If the question is "Is he ready now?" the answer is no.
If the question is Keep him? I vote yes. Not all the signings must be inmediate results. You have to have some patience with young players.
Insua, who I see why people like Scott likes him because he's promissing, also show signs of unexperience, yesterday aswell. He'll be a good player, maybe one day better than Aurelio, but patience is required.
The Ngog and Dossena cases are not similar. In the former I see a young player to work on, yes, I have seen too his controls yesterday, but I've seen players improving a lot on that front of build up play, so I wouldn't write him off. In the latter I saw an experienced player that had to give results from moment one.
If you want an example of this, some of you might remember Darko Kovacevic, a player who failed in Sheffield Wednesday when he was very young, and ended up in Juventus and Lazio doing very well what he didn't know doing in Sheffield.
Ngog? Keep him and patience.
That doesn't mean we don't have to sign up anyone upfront of course.
I've voted Keep Him, but as STMichael pointed out it's way too early to be asking this question. Too many times snap judgements have been made about players based on a couple of performances, then the fans turn on them when they don't perform to what we thought they would.
Give him a run of games in the side before we start making decisions on how good they are and whether or not we should keep them.
For some reason I like him, don't think he will ever be too good but when he moves onto another club in a couple seasons (maybe 1-3) I'll probably follow every now and then.
He looks Ok and did better against Sunderland. Hand on heart I think at best in a couple of years he'll be an Option or a Possibility for someone, but I don't think it'll be a Liverpools level. Not as good as Robbie Keane I don't think .
You would Jo, and like a previous illustrious striker, we've never lost a league game when Egg Nog has scored. Infact, we've won all of them 2-0 which is freaky
