Best 11 ?

With another busy transfer window whats our best 11 ?

Mine would be

Clyne---------Skrtel---------------Sakho--------Gomez
--------------------Hendo--------Can-----------------------
----------------------------Milner----------------------------
---------Firminho------------------Coutinho-------------
------------------------Sturridge----------------------------

Benteke, Origi, Ings, Allen, Moreno, Markovic, Ibe, Ilori, Lucas. Obviously theres Balotelli / Borini / Lambert who all look to be shipped out. We've got a hell of alot of choice!

Not sure I like the narrowness though. And our newly christened captain is not in it.

Interesting, but little or no mention of Lallana, Lovren, Origi, Moreno and Markovic. That's the guts of £100 million sitting in the stands.

To be fair i completely forgot about Lallana. Ibe is steaking a massive claim by his decent pre season performances. We have got a huge squad at the minute.

Chances are Gomez will spend the coming season on loan no way is he r eady for the first team

One thing is for sure BR has got a lot of options and he really needs to up his tactical game to get the best out of the squad. It's going to be interesting.

Think I'll wait to see how the new players cope with the pressure before even trying to come up with a best eleven.

Nobody has mentioned Reus !!! :laugh:

In today's Echo it is saying Lambert and Borini are expected to leave the club within the next week or so.
Looks like you'll have to make changes to your best 11 Dev

Would like to see your best 11 yakka. I know you would want to keep Can as a CB. But what's your take on our new captain? Should he even be in the starting 11? A quintessential Joker of all trade and King of none he appears to me.

I dont think we will play with more than one striker, so I doubt sturridge and Benteke will start together.

I think Hendo would struggle to get in our best XI mate, my XI probably wouldn't be a million miles away from the one LFC 1990 posted. One thing about picking best XI's though is how much they change over the course of a season, this time last year I suspect most of us would have had Lovren in our teams and the likes of Can wouldn't have even been on the radar.
