Liverpool start their UEFA Cup campaign this week in the un-chartered territory of Slovenia.Olimpija Ljubijana are the first round opponents and hopefully they will prove to be easier to beat than pronounce.GH may decide to give a couple of players a rest and revert to his squad rotation for this game.Le tallec,Diao and Murphy could get a start,we'll have to wait and see.Personally I'd like to keep the team unchanged and give the line-up another game under it's belt,perhaps someone other than Heskey up-front...nah it won't happen.

The result is ok;pitch was poor;smicer m-o-m,Heskey proves again he can be the laziest get on a football field and with no pressure now for his place,because Baros is out,he will get worse.
The tie will be won comfortably at Anfield.

Owen saves our blushes according to sky.I felt we were always likely to pop one in,it was just a matter of time.The goal feast will come at Anfield ,you wait and see.

I bet your glad your not in with the big boys of europe. 1-1 in the first round of UEFA cup some scottish teams are still in ang i dont mean the big ones as their in the champions league.
