We need to hang in there, after the 2 trips to Old Trafford and Thursday’s game against Atalanta there’s definitely a sense of our season unravelling but I’m sure the other 2 will have their own twists and turns to deal with before this season is over

Well we certainly need to get our mojo back if we are to get anything from this season, we need a big confidence boosting win.

I'm sorry for being negative but as I said in the Atalanta thread, I think that unfortunatelly, as it also happened at the end of previous seasons, the team has ran out of energy once again. I saw the signs in the United game and I was certain after the Atalanta game, we've ran out of steam.

It wasn't as if the players weren't trying against Atalanta IMO, but some of them seemed like they were busting a gut while the Atalanta players, to even their own surprise, were able to match our strength by simply jogging. The fact that we couldn't create better chances wasn't down to the players being Sh*t, but we just seemed to not have the strength to make runs to create space.

All in all, maybe we'll beat Palace but with current energy levels we don't have the strength to win all of our remaining games, which is something we must do to win the league.

Liverpool team news - Alisson returns

Liverpool team: Alisson, Bradley, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson, Mac Allister, Endo, Jones, Diaz, Salah, Nunez.

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Elliot, Jota, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah.

Why on earth Jota isn't starting ahead of Nunez or Diaz is mind boggling. He did more in 20 mins against Atlanta than the other two combined.

Midfield has been very poor. Is Endo carrying an injury or has the pace of the Premier League caught up with him? He looks very lethargic.

Just hope its not one of those days, pepper the goal with nothing to show for it.

We look gassed, with no energy.

Huge 45 mins coming up. And some big changes needed.

Our midfield is absolutely knackered. Endo is so leggy as is Mac Allister.. the front lads are doing sod all to help them out with no one holding the ball up. Van Dijk can't fire the lads up, the crowds flat and frustrated. It's a nightmare.

Bradley and Konate having a bleedin' mare.
Endo anonymous.
VVD looks lazy.
Looks like they've run out of gas.
