sometime you just have to question Darwin and Diaz's game IQ...unnecessary dribbles when a simple pass is there to be had...then another wayward pass by Nunez and we are fucked again

We are the better team but we deserved to be knocked out with this sort of wasteful display against a downed opposition

What is Gakpo in the field for? Serious question

that was more than an embarrassment.....utterly, utterly threw that away.
this team looks like it has run out of steam now.

Great game...but we have to ask question about Diaz, Nunez and Gakpo wastefulness and performance tonight. Diaz in particular forgotten to pull on his dribbling boot, yet trying to dribble thru United defense all night. Very sloop[y from Nunez and Gakpo...well the less said the better.

We absolutely threw this one away

To be fair we’ve played 6 more games than them just this year. We should have won it in 90 minutes, we were bossing it.

I wouldn’t say that, to be perfectly honest I am p1ssed it was manu  but not  massively disappointed we are out as it’s just too many games with our injuries

At 2-1 up, we shot ourselves in the foot. At 3-2 up we couldn't hold out. I don't buy the 6 games more than them, mate. That's pi$$ poor game management. It's sloppy. And wasteful across the front 3. No wonder Klopp is winding what the fook just happened out there. And I really expected more leadership on the pitch to be honest. I expected Virg to be a lot more vocal, directing things, than I saw on the pitch. He looks tired himself

Yes game management was awful, why would you try a weak pass across the front of a utd player when your 3-2 up with 10 mins to go, absolutely ludicrous.

It's weird how I'm feeling after this. I'm not feeling gutted to be honest. This United were desperate on verge of pathetic all game. This cup is everything to them.. yet we have a cup in the bag, and the other 2 are more important to us. The europa is the only cup klopp hasn't won with us, and the league is the priority. If it wasn't United I honestly wouldn't be bothered. I just hope they draw City in the semi to stop them winning a trophy to ruin our season.

He did nothing coming on, yes he scored against Sparta but maybe they're about his level. An off form Mo is 10x better.
