Well we’ve been knocked off the top, it’s up to us now to respond. Have to admit I have a fair bit of trepidation about tomorrow, we are very good at beating the lesser lights in the division but we’ve struggled a bit against our rivals. Even that FA Cup win against Arsenal, we could have easily been 3 or 4 down in the first 20 minutes. Our lads are going to have to put in the performance of their lives. Let’s hope they can do it.

Whoever wins this match, wins the league in my opinion.

I think Arsenal will lose to city when they meet, which means this is the game that will ultimately decide who goes clear between us and City.

Let's do this, I'm going for a strong 3-1 to the mighty red men!

One thing about this City team is as good as they are going forward they do give you a chance the other end if you are prepared to have a go at them.
You’ve got to brave enough to get on the ball and play though, if you are going to sh1t your pants and give it away every time a City player comes near you the ref may as well blow early and everyone go home.
Our lads have got to be brave, none of these passing moves that continually go backwards and end up at the feet of our keeper, let’s get after them, press them, try to effin score for gods sake, the title is on the line. Come on!!! If we are going to lose at least let’s go out on our shields.

Completely agree  :nod  But think a 3-1 score line is over optimistic, I'll go with a heart stopping 3-2 for our lads  :buttrock

No Konate on the team bus. He's gonna be a huge miss for this one as we needed to match Haaland physically.

Not feeling confident about this one lads, we have too many players injured and a lot that are just coming back from one and they can't be 100% ready. We have the home advatage but they have everything else in their favor.

Sh*t, sorry to be negative but I'm really nervous. Hope we don't lose at least.

One stat that gives us a bit of hope is out of our last 20 games against City at Anfield we have only lost one and that took place under Covid restrictions with no fans in the stadium.

Bit worried about Quansah, he's looked a little shakey in the past few times he's played

I'd have gone with Gomez at the centre and robertson at left back.

But Klopp knows best. Let's do this!
