One thing about these early kick offs is if you do  manage to win you up the pressure on your rivals. Easier said than done of course, now Toney is back these are no mugs. Our rivals are flying atm but there’s still a long way to go, we just need to keep winning and hang in there.

No  more dropped points before the City game- we manage that and beat them at home= Liverpool become favourites and cause Pep to go manic and fall apart at the seams... :grinning:

Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jarell Quansah in the alterations from last weekend’s win over Burnley.

Salah is named on the substitutes’ bench at Gtech Community Stadium, while Joe Gomez is also restored to the squad after illness, but Alisson Becker misses out due to injury.

Liverpool: Kelleher, Endo, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Nunez, Mac Allister, Jones, Jota, Robertson, Bradley.

Subs: Adrian, Gomez, Salah, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, McConnell, Quansah.

That Noorgard has crocked two of our players today and neither deemed a foul yet a brentford player just falls down and its a freekick

0-3, Mo.

What's the deal with the pakyers going off? I missed the first half, are they injured?

Both Jones and Jota off injured by Noorgard tackles and neither a free kick. Hope they're just knocks and nothing serious.

Great win at a bit of a canter to be honest, concern about the injuries especially Jota who was stretchered off.

Kelleher pulled off some great saves today and was unlucky with their goal as he produced a stunner from their first shot but couldn't do much about the follow up.
