Important that we got back on the horse today after let’s face it a really damaging defeat last week. Good to see all 3 of the front lads get on the scoresheet as well. It’s little things like that which help rebuild confidence.

I really hope Xabi (Hope its him and not De Zerbi /A N Other) realises that TAA is never ever a RB and is the constant weak link that is attacked by every team under the sun.

The sooner we move him into MF permanently the better. He could play slightly in front of McAllister and Szob where IMO he would be deadly.

He has the ability to win us games almost single handedly - but not from RB ..

Scruffy win but will take it, main thing get back to wining ways. Thought Nunez header was well taken, Elliott did well also.

Not very convincing but still scrap out a result. 3-1 (all headed goals from our front 3 with 2 assist from Harvey after he came on) made it sound comfortable but if Burnley were to take their chances the results will be very different

Still much needed 3 points now while Salah recovers, and let's put the pressure back on City

In another result, Bayern Leverkusen was mighty impressive. Totally trashed Bayern Munich 3-0 and they may just go the entire season undefeated  :bowdown

Not convincing while playing at home against a poor side but we take the 3 points which is most important. We need to keep winning until we play City and then give it our all to beat them.

Not a great performance but given the players who were missing (Ali, Gomez, Konate, Salah) I don't think we can be too sad.

Important for Robbo and Trent to get more game time, although the latter has looked dreadful. Is he fit?

On Saturday we had  11 players missing, flu in the squad, a jet lagged player who has been away for 6 weeks, player starting for the first time in 3 months, a 20 year old CB, midfielder playing at RB for one half….. it’s extraordinary we are top … I’d never even heard of some of the kids on our bench today. In that context the performances are miracle like.

Very well said Reg. Some of the criticism on here is ridiculous. You’d think we were in the relegation zone not top of the feckin league !! Burnley are fighting for their Premiership lives, so of course they were going to make it difficult. The most important thing is we won the game through grit and determination. Great goals from Diogo, Darwin and Lucho.
