Fair play to Darwin, he made that goal from nothing.

I was screaming at Nunez before that pass to Szobo
And I still think Konate was lucky to not give a peno away

Tough game! First time I've seen United fight all season. I didn't like seeing them leaving a foot in all the time we were lucky no one got seriously injured. We move onto the next one.. Good result.

Always difficult against a new managers first game. We made hard work of it when you think that Sheffield United have been cannon fodder all season !! Is it me or is Diaz looking very predictable and totally lacking any sort of imagination? Nunez is an incredible source of frustration but deserves total respect for his superb assist.

Diaz has been poor for a while. Maybe it's the situation with his dad, but his consistent inability to beat his man is a worry.

Villa played City off the park, all their players looked so comfortable on the ball, pity we couldn’t say the same about Joe Gomez!!
Any win when teams in and around you are faltering is a big one so make no mistake tonight’s result was a biggie.

Good win, clean sheet, no real injuries and all against a potentially tricky side. It’s nice to see we are matching the lesser teams on intensity and we don’t lose that way anymore. Happy Dayz!

Unfortunately, Diaz’s performances were sadly lacking even before the problems he had with his family. He seems to be a bit of a one trick pony, and a lot of the time that one trick doesn’t seem to come off. Hope I’m not being overly critical as I was impressed with Lucho when he first joined. Hopefully there will be more to come in the future.

Nice professional win away from home against a side that has a new manager. Not everyone played great but good enough at least. I thought Virgil was immense though.

It's weird seeing we're 4 points and two places above City and we're not even top of the table. But I much rather chance Arsenal than City. City on the other hand aren't used to the position they're in now so hopefully it will affect their future performances and results.
