Any word on the injuries yet? Kelleher has been ropey when he's played this season

Good point, not easy getting anything from Etihad. Hope Allison is okay, If his out it would be a major setback.
In November Currently and it's tight uptop, keeps it interesting and not the typical 2 horse race atm.

Because he doesn't play enough.

Allison probably had his scan today so we'll likely have news Tuesday/Wednesday.
Allison is the best keeper in the world so whoever comes in for him is going to represent a drop by a couple of levels. The problem with Kelleher is the sheer lack of experience playing senior football. Yes training with Alisson is great but Kelleher is 25 and he's only managed 26 games for us over 5 seasons with only 5 of those in the league. We really should have found him a loan or two earlier on in his career. But at least he's not coming in completely cold and has a few games this year and he'll be less exposed playing with better players in front of him.

He'll probably be out until after the winter break. That's 7 league games, 1 cup game and 1 Europa game. Worst period of the season to lose him.

If Ali is out for a while then it might not be Kelleher who replaces him. My bet is he will go with Adrian until he can't.

No chance. Kelleher is the clear number 2 and plays in the domestic cups and Europa League group games. He even played in the League final at Wembley against Chelsea 2 seasons ago. Adrian is just an experienced extra body in case of an emergency where 2 keepers get injured.
