It was p1ssing down and extremely cold at Anfield today. Credit to the lads for putting in an excellent overall performance. Salah doing what Salah does again. How anybody (Bungle) cannot be a massive fan of Mo is beyond me. Dominick is everywhere. Nunez is an incredible bundle of chaos and energy. Ali great match apart from a couple of unnecessary Ali’isms !! Comfortable win against a tricky opponent.

Good win 3 points, 3 goals and clean sheet. Lads played well and City dropped points.

Great weekend with very late goals from both Wolves and Chelsea which certainly benefited LFC. Can’t remember the last time the Premiership was so close after the opening 12 matches of the season. Exciting stuff !!

2nd in the league, a solitary point behind leaders Man City going into the November international break….I’m sure we all would have taken that back in August.

Great performance and result.

Must win is an over used cliche.....but I'm going to use it again. We MUST win at the Etihad. The only time we beat City to the title was when we put daylight between us. Once they open up a gap they don't relinquish it ..playing catch up every season takes its toll.

Beat them get a couple of points ahead and let them worry about catching us.

Given that it's pretty tight at the top I wouldn't see the City game as a must win. If we lose it still leaves us in a good position. Go top and we will bring a lot of pressure on ourselves to stay there and it will lead to burn out.

Obviously a win would be great and a point would still be a good result. We have a lot travelling back from south America for an early KO which usually leaves a few jetlagged and lethargic.

Yup I agree, If we have title aspirations we jhave to keep going and keep winning. City usually become unstoppable from Jan onwards. We saw what happened to Arsenal when they just couldn't keep up.
As long as we're in a title race I'd be happy.
Beginning of the season we didn't think we'd compete.
Under Klopp V1 I definitely would be more nervy going into every game because that team had the pedigree to go right till the end and we knew we could win the league. Each game was a roller coaster.

Klopp V2 still has holes and needs work, so I'm not fully optimistic yet that will do it.
As long as we stay in the race will be great.

Hoping we sign someone in Jan and Thiago could give us a few months.

He and Gerrard are our greatest players in the Premier League era. Just a question of where Mo sits amongst the all time greats.

In my opinion, Mo sits right at the very top amongst Liverpool‘s all-time greats in terms of attacking goal scorers. Rushie, Owen and Fowler were undoubtedly, some of the very best, however football during their respective era’s  was played at a different pace, and so it is quite difficult to make an absolute comparison. Suarez and Torres would also come into the reckoning if they had been at the club for a longer period. Having said that they were both incredible footballers.
