Thiago, Bajcetic & Doak all out injured, Jones is serving the final game of his 3 match suspension.
Chelsea and Newcastle have dropped points today and either City, United or both will drop points tomorrow as well so let’s make the most of this opportunity

What is going on with Thiago?

Starting to think we should have moved him on in the summer...

As with previous injury-prone players at our club in their last season like Keita, Ox, Lallana etc. he's most likely saving himself for his next club. Don't expect to see him in action much this season, especially since we got a brand new midfield and he's not part of our plans for the future.

Liverpool team news
Team to play Nottm Forest: Allison, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Salah, Nunez, Jota.

Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Gomez, Endo, Matip, Gakpo, Elliott, Chambers, McConnell.

Just about the best XI we have available right now..Only Robertson at LB and arguably Diaz instead of Jota would improve us.

Easy 3/4-0 win here. Like I said before the Everton game, we'll have 15 points from our next 5 games.

The gap between the top sides and the likes of Forest, Burnley, Bournemouth, Sheff Utd and Luton's of this world is far too big. Yes they may nick a flukey win/draw here and there but they are cannon fodder in the main.

Think I was a bit too conservative with my 3/4-0 prediction...5-0 win on the cards here.

The more I see of Konate, the more convinced I am he's not at this level. Seems every pass he makes is to a teammate with an opposition player right up his ar$e
