The quality of officiating here is laughable. Seen at least 3 hand balls let go, pretty sure Gnabry was offside for their goal and there is a few meaty challenges flying about.

Awful goal to concede there. Threw away a 2 goal lead.

We're definitely decent going forward but still the same issues at the back. It's so easy to unlock our defence, few simple passes and they're through on goal. Tend to even agree with Tommy Smith here, we basically have 6 attackers instead of a midfield.

Anyway, MacAlister had an injury at the end and couldn't get up. Robo seemed to be gesticulating a knock so hopefully it's nothing serious.

Wasteful in front of goal again. Nunez, Elliott (I think - watching on the mobile), Becker with a couple of excellent saves.
The defence is still a worry. Regardless of all the changes made second half

the defense was wide open,

One simple ball over the top and our opposition always has a high probability to get in a good chance and score. This is absurd to be happening to a top tier team.

Have to make a signing or two in defence. All of their goals came down our right side. It's no longer a coincidence

Some promising signs going forward, Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo, Elliott etc all look sharp in fact all our forwards bar maybe Mo look lean, quick and hungry.
At the back though we are still way too open, with less than a fortnight to go until the season starts this late in the game we need a miracle signing to sort our defence issues out.

Just WAY too many attacking players and not many that actually protect the back 4.
Going to leak many goals with that mentality...

Quite few errors lead to their goals, not looking solid at the back.
As many, attacking wise we won't be an issue this season. I just hope we don't return back to Klopps early days. We need a solid DM if we want stability. I know it's pre-season but there are some clear telling signs. I pray we don't go into the new season with only Mac and Szob.

Captain Virgil! Played 1 - Lost 1 - conceded 4  :wwww Lets hope he's got that out of the way and doesn't carry it into the new season.

Final game of pre-season tonight. I imagine all the triple/double sessions have gone away now and we're on a more normal schedule. Combined with the less humid climate compared to Singapore, I imagine the players will have a little more in the legs. Thiago and Bajcetic were rumored to start full training over the weekend but even if that's true I imagine this game comes too soon for them.
